About me

Hey! My name is 周陈梁 ZHOU, Chenliang. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Cambridge Open Reality and Visual AI Laboratory (Core Lab) in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge, working with Cengiz Öztireli.

My research sits at the intersection of multimodal generative AI, visual foundation models, and 3D vision. I develop methods for controllable generation and editing of images, 3D shapes, and materials—spanning diffusion models, neural rendering, and physically grounded visual representations. More broadly, I am interested in building generative systems that are not only high-quality, but also structured, interpretable, and usable in real creative and industrial pipelines.

I received my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, my MSc in Computer Science from the University of Oxford, and BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of British Columbia.

Outside research, I enjoy travelling, working out, and trying different kinds of sports.
